Soroban Calendar is an object that allows you the passage of time each day through tactical sensation and routine, by sliding each bead everyday. Drawing from the mechanism of an abacus, a tool used for counting since ancient times, it features a structure that expresses date without using numbers or letters. Each day of the year, the shape changes slightly, and the calendar will never look exactly the same. Over time the wooden beads slowly deepen in colour with continued use, gaining patina and 'growing' with you over time.
